It appears that scientific bush fire experts have been warning for several years that a catastrophe would be coming and yet these warnings have not been heeded by governments or their bureaucratic officials.
Why is that, and what does it tell us about Australian society? John Adams and Martin North discuss.
Is this also true of impending financial disaster?

Well done John and Martin. Very apt. Send the greens and the mainstream media to gaol.
And as Martin recommends: Don’t hold back.
The problems are at local government level. And in particular the town planning fraternity.
It’s useless spending more money on fire brigades.
In terms of managing fuel loads it not a job for government. Its a job for local communities. Just get the local governments out of the way, start by burning the road verges, then move into private property as people see the need to reduce risk and have access to others who will help out.
