Domain released their preliminary auction results for today, and once again volumes are low, such that the clearance rates remain pretty meaningless. The long weekend will not have helped either!
Domain notes: “From Wednesday March 25 the federal government placed a ban on public real estate auctions as part of social distancing measures to slow the spread of COVID-19. The number of auctions withdrawn in the immediate weeks following the ban were unusually high. Current results reflect virtual auctions”.
Canberra listed 19 auctions, reported 14 and sold 9 with 5 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 64%.
Brisbane listed 23 auctions. reported 11 and sold 4 with 1 withdrawn and 2 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 33%.
Adelaide listed 9 auctions, reported 4 and sold 4 with 1 withdrawn to give a Domain clearance of “n/a”
