A Raft Of Changes Will Hit Us This Year!

A significant number of legislative changes came in with the New Year, I had started to make a list for my post then discovered the Charis Chang at New.Com.au did it for me. And folks there are several important changes which will hit. There are changes to government payments, new distinctive collars for dangerous dogs and an Australian-first program to get more women into the construction industry. And one which is important, but hardly discussed is Land Tax changes in Victoria, and the raft of Superannuation changes now in effect.

DFA Live Special Event: HD Replay Gill North Memorial And Celebration

This is an edited version of our celebration and memorial for my wife Gill North who recently died from Mesothelioma. Friends and family added their words to mine, as we told her story, and that of the creation of Asbestos Awareness Australia (AAA). We monetized the stream to raise funds for AAA to allow us to continue Gills work. What a legacy!

A Matter Of Live And Death!

On the first day of 2022, we replay the recent A Current Affair segment (with permission) in which two days before she died, Gill North spoke about her battle with Mesothelioma, a cancer caused directly by exposure to Asbestos.

This is a stark warning to DIY renovators, property owners and renters to “THINK ASBESTOS”.
