It is very important to keep reminding ourselves that economics is essentially about people whose lives can be ruined by the choices those more powerful and well placed make in their own political or economic interest. At some point I would love to hear you both discuss the legal changes that allow corporations to be regarded as having the same legal rights as living breathing human beings. Corporate personhood combined with the “use ’em and lose ’em” neo-liberal philosophy of unemployment are a lethal combination against humanity.
