Another Hot, Hot, Auction Result Today

The provisional data from APM Pricefinder for today shows another high clearance rate. Sydney cleared at 84.1%, on 492 listings, compared with 75.2% last week on 466 listings, and 73.7% a year ago on 737 properties. Melbourne was 77.7% compared with 78.3% last week, on higher listings, and nationally, we hit 78.1%, compared with 73.1% last week, and 71.1% last year. Canberra cleared 65% of 38 listings, Adelaide 61% of 61 listings and Brisbane cleared 58% of 84 listings.

Further signs of strong demand for property in the current ultra low interest rate environment. The market remains hot!

Auction Clearances Up Again Today

The latest data from APM’s PriceFinder shows Sydney auction clearances reach 82.8%, up from 72.4% last week, on listings of 464, compared with 728 this time last year. Melbourne reached 79.5%, compared with 73.7% last week, on 522 listings compared with 612 last week and 773 last year. So while the number of properties listed are down, the clearances are astonishingly high.

APM-13-Aug-16Looking nationally, clearances were 77.4%, on 1,153 listings compared with 71.2% last week, though a year ago, 1,696 properties were listed.  Adelaide listed 45 and cleared 62% whilst Brisbane listed 77 and achieved 46% clearance.

Another Set of Good Auction Results

It may be a moot point whether home prices are rising or not, but the latest results from the APM PriceFinder team shows that nationally 76.3% of  property for auction sold, compared with 68.6% last week, and 75.1% last year. However, the total number for sale was lower at 1,177, compared with 1,288 last week, and 1,989 last year.

Sydney led the way with 79.4% clearance from 393 listings, but there was more activity in Melbourne, with 676 listed, though 77.9% cleared. Both are higher that a year ago, when 74% cleared in Sydney and 71.7% in Melbourne.

Today’s Auction Results

APM PriceFinder’s residential auction summary for Saturday 30 July 2015 continues to underscore momentum in the property market, especially in Sydney and Melbourne.

Nationally, clearance rates were 73.1% on 1,285 properties, compared with 66.9% on 989 listing last week. A year ago, there were 1,488 listing and 74.9% cleared.

APM-30-Jul-16In Sydney, clearance was 75.7%, compared with 70.3% last week, and 76.1% a year ago, though on lower volumes. Melbourne cleared 75.7% of 675 listed, compared with 67% last week, and 76.9% on 651 properties a year ago. Adelaide achieved a 60% clearance on 83 listings. Brisbane listed 101 properties and cleared 50%.

Auction Clearances Up Again

According to the APM PriceFinder, clearance rates remain strong, especially in the eastern states, although compared with last year, sales volume is down. The auction results today shows a national average clearance rate of 73.9%, compared with 71.2% last week. Sydney achieved a rate of 77.2%, higher than this time last year (76.9%) and last week (71.5%), although the number of properties offered was 357, compared with 715 last year. In Melbourne, 476 were offered, compared with 735 on the same weekend last year, and 74.2% were cleared compared with 75.6% last week, and 75.1% last year. Adelaide achieved a 75% clearance on 52 listed, Brisbane achieved 52% clearance on 79 listed and Canberra achieved 74% clearance on 29 listed properties.

Latest Auction Results Firm

The results from the APM PriceFinder residential auction activity for Saturday, 16 July 2016, shows continued strong momentum. Nationally, clearances were at 75.5%, compared with 69.8% last week, which is the same as a year ago, though on lower volumes. Melbourne was above 80% this week, higher than this time last year.  In comparison, Adelaide was just 47% and Brisbane 51%.

Auctions Clearances Today Were Hot

According to APM PriceFinder, more than 1,130 properties were listed for auction today, and the national clearance rate was 73.7%, compared with 64.5% last week. So the market is still hot, at least in some areas. In contract, 12 months ago, there were 1,320 listed and 74.9% cleared. But there is further evidence of the two speed property market. Melbourne let the way with 532 listed and 75.7% cleared, with Sydney just slightly behind. In contrast, Brisbane had just 93 listing, with a 39% clearance, whilst Adelaide listed 50 properties, and achieved a 78% clearance.

Auction Clearances Still Buoyant

The latest data from APM PriceFinder shows that last Saturday, 2nd July, despite the election distraction, national clearances were at 70%, compared with 64.9% last week, though on much lower volumes for obvious reasons. Compared with this time last year numbers are down a little, but clearly there is still appetite for property.

Today’s Auction Results Beat Last Week

The results from APM Pricefinder for 25 June 2016 are out, and nationally, auction rates were 70.9%, up from 68.3% last week. Sydney cleared 341 sales at 74.1%, whilst Melbourne sold 511 at 71.7%. Results are still strong, though still a little lower than this time last year.

Booming Auction Results Today

According to the APM Home Price Guide Auction results for 18th June 2016, the national clearance rate was 72.4%, up from 60.7% last week.  Sydney led the way with a 78.3% sold, but Melbourne had the largest number of sales. Whilst the results are a little down on last year, its still looking pretty hot at the moment.
