Auction Results 31 Aug 2019

Domain has released their preliminary results for today.

Volumes are remain lower than a year back though estimated clearances are higher. Values transacted are also down.

Canberra listed 34, reported 26 and sold 20, with 5 withdrawn and 6 passed in, giving a Domain clearance of 65%.

Brisbane listed 74, reported 49 and sold 25, with 3 withdrawn and 24 passed in, giving a Domain clearance of 48%.

Adelaide listed 35, reported 22 and sold 18. with 1 withdrawn and 4 passed in, giving a Domain clearance of 78%

Domain have released their preliminary results for today.

The trends continue with higher clearance rates on lower volumes than a year ago. There were 1,605 listed then, compared with 1,175 now. The value is significantly lower also.

Canberra listed 33, confirmed 22 and sold 17, with 3 withdrawn and 5 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 65%.

Brisbane listed 74, confirmed 31 and sold 19 with 3 withdrawn and12 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 56%.

Adelaide listed 35, confirmed 16 and sold 12 with 1 withdrawn and 4 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 71%.

Auction Results 17th Aug 2019

Domain released their preliminary results for today.

The trends continue, higher clearance rates on lower volumes than last year. 1,015 listed this week, compared with 1,515 a year back. And a smaller number reported sold (dispute the natural bias to report sold events!).

In Canberra, 21 were listed, 19 reported and 17 sold, with 2 passed giving a Domain result of 89%.

In Brisbane, 68 were listed, 43 reported with 20 sold, 23 passed in and 2 withdrawn giving a Domain result of 44%.

In Adelaide, 36 were listed, 23 reported with 16 sold, 7 passed in and 3 withdrawn giving a Domain result of 62%.

Auction Results From 10th August 2019

I did not receive the Domain results last Saturday so could not make my normal weekly post. I have had many people ask about the data.

So, here is first the data they did publish last week. No comparative data to last year. Volumes are lower, even if Domain clearance rates are higher.

And we also got the CoreLogic final results today. There were 1,402 auctions last year compared with 1,107 this past week. That puts the higher clearances in a better context.

Auction Results 3rd August 2019

Domain has released their preliminary results for today.

Same old story higher clearance rates, but on lower volumes than a year ago. 892 listed this week, compares with 1,155, with 642 reported, compared with 950 last year.

Adelaide listed 46 auctions, reported 27 and sold 14 with 3 withdrawn and 13 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 47%.

Brisbane listed 55, confirmed 29 sold 15 with 3 withdrawn and 14 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 47%.

Canberra listed 25, reported 17 with 10 sold and 4 withdrawn and 7 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 48%.

Auction Results 27 July 2019

Domain released their preliminary results for today.

The clearance rates remain higher, though on lower volumes compared with last year. 926 listed compared with 1,318 last year. Considerable numbers are being passed in, or not reported.

Adelaide listed 38, reported 21 with 12 sold, 3 withdrawn and 9 passed in giving a Domain clearance of 50%.

Brisbane listed 52, reported 30 with14 sold, 6 withdrawn and 16 passed in, giving a Domain clearance of 39%.

Canberra listed 25, confirmed 17 with 11 sold, 5 withdrawn and 6 passed in, giving a Domain clearance of 50%.

Preliminary Auction Results From 20th July 2019 [Delayed]

Belatedly I am posting the results released by Domain last Saturday, having received many requests for my normal post, which due to personal circumstances I was unable to make on the day.

The volumes remain low, relative to last year, which might temper our attitude to the higher clearances… We also see many “prices withheld” in the reports.

Canberra listed 23 auctions, reported 17 and sold 9, with 2 withdrawn and 8 passed in, giving a Domain clearance of 47%.

Brisbane listed 55 auctions, reported 33 and sold 13, with 7 withdrawn and 8 passed in, giving a Domain clearance of 33%.

Adelaide listed 37, reported 16 with 8 sold, 7 withdrawn and 8 passed in giving a Domain clearance of 35%.

Domain released their preliminary results for today.

The story continues to be one of higher clearance rates but on very low volumes.

Adelaide listed 43, reported 26 with 17 sold, 9 passed in and 1 withdrawn, giving a Domain clearance of 63%.

Brisbane listed 51, reported 29 and sold 11 with 3 withdrawn and 18 passed in, giving a Domain clearance of 34%.

Canberra listed 29, reported 16 with 11 sold, 5 passed in and 1 withdrawn, giving a Domain clearance of 65%.

Auction Results 06 July 2019

Domain released their preliminary results today.

The final results for last week showed a higher clearance rate but still on low volumes.

In Canberra, 50 auctions were listed, 39 confirmed and 17 sold with 2 withdrawn and 22 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 41%. We think that should be 34%.

In Brisbane, 36 auctions were listed, 24 confirmed and 9 sold with 3 withdrawn and 15 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 33%. We think that should be 25%

In Adelaide, 49 auctions were listed, 25 confirmed and 18 sold with 6 withdrawn and 7 passed in to give a Domain clearance of 58%. We think that should be 36%.

Sydney should be 52% and Melbourne 50%. In each case we divide the number reported sold by those listed.

Auction Results 29 June 2019

Domain released their preliminary results for today.

Last week the final result came in at 59%, with a higher result in Melbourne than Sydney. Volumes remain lower than a year back.

This week, in Canberra 18 auctions led to 9 results reported, with 5 sold, 1 withdrawn and 4 passed in, giving a Domain clearance of 50%.

In Brisbane, 94 auctions led to 48 results, 22 sold, 12 withdrawn and 26 passed, giving a Domain clearance of 37%.

In Adelaide, 51 auctions led to 24 results, with 19 sold, 6 withdrawn and 5 passed in giving a Domain clearance of 63%.
